Ckalo stream pool is located at Rakita River (Racita River), about 1 km from the village of Vratnica.
Rakita river, also known as Vratnica river, is consisted of Ljuboten river and Livadica river.

Football tournament at Staro Selo during the summertime (July/August).

Staro Selo (Old Village) is located in Polog Valley, northwestern Republic of Macedonia.

Old Building: Agriculture Collective 'Ljuboten' in Vratnica

In the photo below: old building of the agriculture collective 'Ljuboten' from Vratnica.

The agriculture collective stopped its work in the late 1980s.
Today, this building is renovated into House of Culture.

One sunny day in May, I took my camera, went to one of the lilac bushes in the backyard, and took this picture with beautiful pink and purple lilac flowers.

As I said before, there are few lilac bushes/trees in my backyard.
I don't know how to make lilac perfume, and enjoy in it. However, every spring I can still enjoy in the beauty and scent of the lilac blossom.

(In Macedonia, lilac is known as jorgovan or slabinka).

Ilinden Holiday at Ljuboten (Photos)

The photos below were taken for the Ilinden holiday (2nd of August 2006) at mountain peak Ljuboten.
I was settled (together with my friends) at the mountain house at Ljuboten, but we don't miss the chance to explore the beauties of Ljuboten and Shar Mountain.
